Get ready for the next Verizon backpack giveaway!
Heads-up, parents! The Verizon Wireless Zone’s annual School Backpack Giveaway is returning for its 12th year! On July 27th at 1PM (local time), participating Verizon Wireless Zone and TCC stores will be handing out free backpacks to help kiddos get ready for back-to-school!
There’s no purchase required, but your child must be present to get a backpack. Supplies are limited and first come, first served, so plan to get there early!
Since the program launched, Verizon Wireless has donated over 1.4 million backpacks to kids across the country. Amazing!
Not all stores are participating, so it’s a good idea to call your local store before heading out. To find the closest participating store, visit the TCC and Wireless Zone websites and select the “Backpack Giveaway ” filter.
If you can’t get to one of these giveaways, check Facebook for back-to-school events. I have three huge ones in my area, one of which had 30k (yes, 30 THOUSAND) backpacks to give away with hygiene items and a few school supplies.
