Amazon Shopper Panel Updates – Here Are The Changes!

Join the Amazon Shopper Panel and start earning easy Amazon Credits every month!

The Amazon Shopper Panel is an AWESOME invitation-only program where members can earn monthly Amazon credits by completing simple tasks. You can earn rewards by sharing receipts from purchases made outside of Amazon.com and by completing short surveys.

Participating in the Amazon Shopping Panel is my favorite way to score easy Amazon credits. In the past year, I earned almost enough credits to cover the entire cost of my Prime membership!

Changes to the Amazon Shopping Panel Program announced on June 1st:

We’ve recently learned about the receipt reward changes. Electronic stores, home improvement and decor stores, clothing stores, shoe stores, accessory stores, sports and outdoors stores, and department stores will now be worth 70¢ per receipt. Additionally – big box stores, pet supply stores, dollar stores, convenience stores, beauty stores, health stores, drug stores and grocery stores will now earn 10¢ per receipt. You can only earn up to $10 per month from your uploaded receipts.

How does the Amazon Shopper Panel work?

There are several ways for members to earn rewards: You can upload eligible receipts each month, earn additional rewards by completing brief surveys as they’re offered to you, and you can enable ad verification on your phone.

In addition, rewards can also be earned through offers. You may see the option to earn rewards for purchasing specific items, similar to how Ibotta and Fetch offers work. For instance, you may see an offer to earn $1 for uploading a receipt for a cereal brand purchase or $3 for a receipt for an electronics brand purchase. Space is limited for the offers program.

Your participation will help brands offer better products and make Amazon ads more relevant. You’ll also be rewarded for your time with monthly Amazon credits or donations to charitable organizations if you choose.

How do members submit receipts to earn rewards?

Earning rewards is truly SO easy. Just upload eligible receipts each month by using the Amazon Shopper Panel app to take pictures of your paper receipts. You can also forward email receipts to receipts@panel.amazon.com. You’ll have each month to submit your eligible receipts and then will receive your reward on the 1st day of the very next month.

I just save my paper receipts I get every month for eligible stores I shop at and then scan them all in one sitting to save time. They can be from most retail stores, including grocery stores and drug stores, that give out paper receipts. It only takes me about three minutes to upload all of my receipts each month!

Are there any other ways to earn additional rewards?

Amazon Shopper Panel members also receive short surveys in the app, and you can earn rewards for each survey you complete. Reward amounts vary per survey (usually between 25¢ and $1), and you will be able to see the reward offered before choosing to complete the survey.

These surveys are seriously SO short – usually anywhere from one to four questions long, and they take mere seconds to complete!

What kind of rewards can members earn?

When you submit eligible receipts each month, you’ll earn the qualifying rewards towards either your Amazon Gift Card Balance or the charitable organization of your choice. You’ll earn additional rewards each month for every survey you complete, too.

I’ve been a member of the Amazon Shopper Panel since March of 2021, and I earn a minimum of $10 every month. In all that time, I’ve never had any issues getting the payout that I earned. Within the first 48 hours of the following month, I always find the credit in my Amazon account, ready to spend. Easy peasy!

Overall, my experience with Amazon Shopper Panel has been outstanding. I enthusiastically recommend this program without any hesitation to everyone I know!

How do I sign up for the Amazon Shopper Panel?

The Amazon Shopper Panel app is free to download and use, but spots on the Panel are available to a limited number of Amazon customers in the US.

I was lucky to receive an invitation to join the program in March of 2021, but anyone can download the app from the App Store or the Google Play Store and check to see if space is available. If not, you’ll be waitlisted and notified when a spot opens up.

So… what’s the catch?!

While the Amazon Shopper Panel isn’t perfect, I’ve never encountered any serious issues after using it for almost a year and a half. Of course, I have found a couple of areas of improvement that I would love to see addressed in the future.

Here are the things I’d change about the Amazon Shopper Panel:

• Allow members to earn more per month. I would love the opportunity to earn more than a base rate of $10/month, but I can certainly understand the need to limit this.

• Open up more opportunities for folks on the waitlist. One of my Hip colleagues has been waiting for months to get off the waitlist, while other users slide right in. There’s no explanation or estimated wait time given to those who are waitlisted, and that can be pretty frustrating.

The truth is that the negative aspects have been minor annoyances for me, but certainly not anything serious enough to discourage me from participating. All things considered, I love being a part of the Amazon Shopper Panel, and I’m hooked on it now!

This is one app I would never want to delete from my phone, and I plan to continue with it for as long as those credits keep piling up in my account. It’s worth the few minutes I spend scanning receipts every month!
