Today is the FREE 2024 Verizon backpack giveaway!<\/em><\/p>\n

Today, July 28th only, at 1 PM local time, and while supplies last, head into a participating Verizon Wireless Zone<\/a> or TCC store<\/a> where you may be able to snag a FREE backpack for your kiddo!<\/p>\n

Unlike previous years, these backpacks will not<\/em> include school supplies. There is a limit of one backpack per child, and your child must be present to receive it.<\/p>\n

With over 1,000 locations participating, they plan to give away 120,000 backpacks. Backpacks are typically claimed very<\/em> quickly, so if you are interested in snagging one, plan to arrive early!<\/p>\n

To find the closest participating store, visit the TCC<\/a> and Wireless Zone<\/a> websites and select the “Find a Backpack Giveaway Near You<\/i>” filter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This year, 10 lucky students will also be “Golden Ruler” winners<\/a> when they receive one of 10 backpacks at random stores around the country with a Golden Ruler keychain. The winners will score a $100 VISA gift card to purchase school supplies and<\/em> $1,000 for their school (in the form of a $1,000 Amazon Wishlist buyout)! Awesome!<\/em><\/p>\n

Hip Tip from reader Jenn<\/strong>: If you can’t get to one of these giveaways, check Facebook for back-to-school events. I have three huge ones in my area, one of which had 30k (yes, 30 THOUSAND) backpacks to give away with hygiene items and a few school supplies. A quick search shows a bunch more for the next couple of weekends. You may not be able to get everything needed, but it’s a good start!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
